Enjoying near-complete privacy and seclusion from the populated centers of the Galapagos, Finch Bay’s open-air design and layout invite Guests to explore the surrounding and beautiful natural world after their Galapagos cruises. As you go around our Galapagos Hotel, you’ll also find several cozy nooks to pass the time in. Below is a brief look at some of the spaces you’ll enjoy! LOUNGE

With large, open-door frames that invite plenty of light in along with the refreshing sea breeze, our lounge area serves as a perfect rendezvous point for families, groups, or friends. Here, you'll also find our Reception Desk and a comfortable area where you can take a break from the outdoors at any one of the plush sofas and chairs that are available.

OUTDOOR POOL

As one of the first features to greet everyone upon arrival at Finch Bay, our swimming pool never fails to entice guests to dip in its refreshing waters. Also, you can find a children's area in the pool. You're also welcome to soak up the sun on any one of the sun loungers or enjoy a meal under one of the parasols that cover our outdoor tables all of this as the soothing sound of waves can be heard off in the distance.

BAR

Situated right by our pool, our open-air Bar provides an excellent and laidback space for Guests that wish to enjoy a refreshment or small snack. We invite you to indulge your tastebuds in the Finch Bay's signature cocktails, crafted to take you on an invigorating journey that expresses the sense of time, place, and magic that the Galapagos are home to.

RESTAURANT

Surround yourself with the soothing sounds of the ocean and natural views as you delight your palate with high-caliber fare from our restaurant. Here, organic, high-quality, and local ingredients all come together to provide your tastebuds with a remarkable sensory experience of the flavors that the islands provide. Our restaurant area is large and spacious, allowing guests to enjoy their meal in relative privacy at their own table.

SPA

A fully-equipped space (featuring hot tubs, a yoga room, a gym, and massage rooms) that's been designed from the ground up to inspire relaxation, wellness, and healing. It is open to all of our Guests and is right around the corner from the Hotel, nestled in a secluded area that's close to the beach. The Spa itself incorporates local elements that help activate the senses and immerse one's body in the essence of the islands.

LIBRARY

A convenient space where Guests can spend their leisure time watching a movie, using the computer station, or perusing the literature we have available. This room also serves as a space for Expedition Leaders and Naturalist Guides to brief our Guests on any upcoming Galapagos excursions and activities that they requested.

Rooms & suites

A total of 33 rooms are available at the Finch Bay Galapagos Hotel. All of them are close, if not directly next to, to the peaceful, natural setting in which the Hotel is nestled. All rooms have blackout curtains, crisp bed linens, and air conditioning.

Arranged in a half-circle around one of the Hotel’s gardens and accessed by a wooden walkway, these rooms are fantastic for solo travelers or guests traveling in pairs, as a couple, or as friends. All rooms have a small patio area right outside with a hammock.

Suites (6)

The more spacious accommodation option that we have available offers gorgeous vistas of the bay and ocean that sit across the property. Each suite has its own private balcony that invites guests to relax on the hammock outside and enjoy the sound of the nearby waves. They also serve as an excellent choice for families or groups, as 4 of these Suites can be interconnected.

Our Sea Lion yacht

Which we own and operate

Finch Bay’s private Sea Lion Yacht is a terrific option for getting a true sense of what the Galapagos offers. It can carry up to 20 passengers and offers land and aquatic excursions in the company of its two Naturalist Guides, meaning excursion groups will never be larger than 10 passengers. All passengers are given a selection of fun activities at each island and are served a hot lunch on board.

Passengers on the Sea Lion Yacht will also enjoy personalized service onboard with an attentive crew, air-conditioned interiors, and numerous viewing decks from which to admire the Galapagos and its National Park.
