Wild Cotopaxi: Day Visits

Cotopaxi National Park

The park surrounds Cotopaxi Volcano, one of the highest active volcanoes in the world, and Limpiopungo Lake, a high-altitude lagoon that draws a remarkable range of paramo species while offering impressive views of the volcano on a clear day.

Incan Fortress

San Agustin del Callo has been in the Plaza family since 1921 and carries six centuries of history within its walls, including the remains of an Inca fortress and monastery that guests can explore and dine among, making it unlike any other hacienda in Ecuador.

Vodka Tasting

A guided tour of an Ecuadorian vodka distillery covering the production process from raw ingredient to bottle that includes blackberry, and coca leaf varieties.
