Our Eastern Galapagos Yacht Itinerary starts with a tour of South Plaza Island, lined by turquoise waters and inhabited by many iguanas, bird species, and numerous sea lion colonies. The next day will see us visiting the islands of Santa Fe and San Cristobal; the former provides fascinating moments with unique landscapes and species, while the latter showcases giant tortoises and laidback island life.
After that, we’ll explore more remote regions of San Cristobal Island, which offer fun aquatic activities, stunning vistas, and tons of wildlife. Rounding out this Galapagos itinerary is spectacular Española Island, home to the giant bird in the archipelago and epic coastlines!
This Galapagos itinerary has been designed to guarantee the best wildlife-viewing opportunities at several of the most gorgeous landscapes in the archipelago.
A total of 20 spacious and spotless cabins (all of which have their private bathroom) offer room for up to 40 guests. A wide variety of cabin options are available, and nearly all of them are arrayed around the outer-facing corridors of the Yacht.
Visited on day one.
Enjoy the mesmerizing terrain of this tiny little island that you’ll loop the entirety of in one go. Along the way, you’ll get to enjoy the carpets of scarlet succulents covering the land, which a multitude of land iguanas can often be seen eating. As we circle the coastline, you’ll see colonies of sea lions and many marine birds flying overhead.
Visited in day two.
Disembark and venture across the towering cacti (which you can touch and even hug thanks to their very soft thorns) and enigmatic scenery that adorns this unique island. Not only that, but the island is the only home to an endemic species of land iguana. Aquatic activities are offered on this island that put you in touch with the native sea life, such as sea lions and fish.
Visited on days two and three.
Revel in the stunning vistas available at remote Cerro Brujo and Punta Pitt, located on the island’s far side. Numerous aquatic activities are available here. Later in the day, you’ll also briefly enjoy the laidback island life in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno before visiting a giant-tortoise breeding center.
Visited on day four.
Explore the fascinating variety of bird colonies present on this island. The large waved albatross (present between April-December) is one of the biggest attractions here. Geological phenomena and epic coastlines await to take your breath away, and all topped off with a visit to one of the most beautiful beaches in the archipelago, where exciting aquatic activities are offered.
