Our 5-day Galapagos cruise begins with giant tortoises. After landing at Baltra airport, we visit these creatures in their natural highland habitat. On the following day, we journey to Santiago Island’s stunning coast, home to fur seals, where you can snorkel with marine iguanas. In the afternoon, we continue our adventure on the sandy beach of Sombrero Chino (Chinese Hat Islet). As night falls, we sail onward to Genovesa—known as “Bird Island.” There, we spend the day observing nesting bird colonies, including the rare red-footed booby, and also explore the island’s shores, cliffs, and beaches. Returning to the central islands, we visit Santa Fe, which offers sightings of the Galapagos hawk, the islands’ top avian predator. In the afternoon, our explorations take us to South Plaza in search of sea lions and sharks. From tortoises to boobies, hawks to sea lions, our northern route promises five memorable days in the Galapagos.

As a friend who went a few years ago said, it was life-changing… We had a fantastic group on the cruise and our leader said we had great karma – with all of our sightings and our slight change of plans to see the volcano one night. Our guide, Veronica was TOP NOTCH!!!
