Visiting the western Galapagos islands is always special. Isabela island being the biggest of all has a wide variety of flora and fauna. That first morning on Punta Vicente Roca, swimming with like 30 est pacific green sea turtles aroung me was just amazing, those females were huge weighing up to 400 hundred pounds, they looked at the swimmers like if they were wondering what kind of rare species we were, because we did not look like one of them.

The next day walking at Urbina bay we found lizard-like animals, yellow land iguanas, they looked pretty healthy, and all they eat is plants and cactus; it seems that their food is abundant here. Later we encountered the real giants, Galapagos land tortoises, so big and so slow at the same time, it looked like they were not on a hurry, like if they had all the time in the world to move from one place to another, and they certainly did, they can live over a hundred years.
