New Cruiser of Delfin Amazon Cruises 
Perú, 09/01/2008.- Delfin (Dolphin) Amazon Cruises, operating deluxe river cruises in the Amazon, has begun the construction of its second vessel, the DELFIN II, which will have 14 suites with wide panoramic windows. The Delfín II will be ready in March 2009, and the company has decided to move its operations from the city of Iquitos to the city of Nauta, which will allow it to offer guests the opportunity to visit the heart of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. LAN will fly Frankfurt /Guayaquil and Quito 
Ecuador, 09/01/2008.- Starting October 2, 2008, LAN will have daily flights from Frankfurt, via Madrid, to Ecuador – arriving at its main cities Guayaquil (at 05:30) and Quito at 07:20. The return flight is at night. LAN will operate these flights with modern Boeing B767 featuring lie-flat-beds on its Premium Business Class for a comfortable rest in horizontal position. [+]

Ecuador, 09/01/2008.- A green or sustainable airport is being planned in the Island of Baltra. Corporation America, an Argentinean group that participated in the construction of the new Guayaquil Airport has presented a project for a Green Building, the first ecology-conscious Air Terminal in the world. Designs and blueprints are being analyzed for an initial investment of US$ 17 million. [+]
