Tourism | Ecuador Waives Tourist Visa

Ecuador, 07/01/2008.- As of June 20, 2008, Ecuador no longer requires a visa for foreign tourists to enter the country. Tourists from any country will be welcome to Ecuador, without a visa, for a visit of maximum 90 days. The move seeks to put into practice the principle of free circulation of persons, aiming at strengthening Ecuador’s relationship with the rest of the world through tourism promotion. [+]

Air travel | Brazilian Tam Airline to start Sao Paulo and Lima daily flights

Perú, 07/01/2008.- Brazilian TAM Airlines will begin to operate to Peru as of October 17, 2008, with a daily flight between Sao Paulo and Lima. This means a frequency of seven flights per week, which will take off from Sao Paulo at 8:25 hours (13:25 GMT) arriving to Lima at 10:45 hours (15:45 G; T), and from Lima at 12:00 hours (17:00 GMT) arriving to Sao Paulo at 19:50 hours (01:50 GMT).
