The Ecuadorian airline TAME will start operating a new Quito-Bogotá-Quito route on July 9th 2012 aboard an Airbus A319 with capacity for 145 passengers.
TAME is looking to expand its presence and routes in northern South America. In August, it is expected to announce the extension of the Bogotá flight to Caracas, Venezuela. The airline is currently waiting for the permits from the Venezuelan authorities. TAME is then expected to open a Quito-Lima-Quito route by November 2012.
