The Coca Cola Ecuador Company recognized the 14 years of work of Fundación Galápagos in promoting a sustainable way of life in the archipelago. This recognition was given as part of Coca Cola's advertising campaign "Super Heroes" with the presentation of awards to Everyday Heroes of Ecuador.
Coca Cola's campaign called "Super Heroes" seeks to make a difference with positive messages and inviting people to take actions that help build a better world.
This event took place in April with the presence of the Vice-president of Ecuador, Lenín Moreno, and several Heroes who work for the benefit of other people.
Verónica Santamaría, representative of Fundación Galápagos, received this important recognition that motivates us to keep working in reducing the environmental impact caused by human settlements in the Galápagos Islands.
The Foundation focuses most of its efforts, plans and resources to conduct and support the following projects:

Coastal clean-up
Education and training oriented towards sustainable development
