Argentine cities, among the best
As usual, the portal invited fans to choose, according to their experience, the 25 best cities in the world to visit in 2012.
In this selection, Buenos Aires had an excellent performance, obtaining the first position in the ranking of Argentina and South America and number 13 in the world.
"We welcome this new recognition for our city, a distinction which demonstrates the importance of our destination, its high quality of services and its unparalleled cultural offerings," said Culture Minister and President of the Ente Turismo de Buenos Aires, Hernán Lombardi.
But in the Top Ten of South America, Buenos Aires is not the only Argentinian representative. Bariloche stands in fifth position.
"Located on the foot of the Andes, the largest ski area in South America area also offers the excitement of sailing, hiking, paragliding and climbing". The lakes are abundant and the bravest can take a dip in the gelato Lake Nahuel Huapi that, even in summer, never goes up more than 14 degrees. "San Carlos is famous for its popular fruit-filled chocolates and for its skiing, but is also an excellent destination for water sports, as well as hiking and climbing," describes the site.
