From June 7th to 10th the Mono Núñez Festival rejuvenates the town of Ginebra, just outside of Cali. This is the most important event in Colombian Andean music and brings together the best musicians and interpreters of this genre of folk music. The fusion between tradition and modernity are captured in an extraordinary display of musical qualities from young up and coming Colombian artists.
A folkloric festival where visitors will also have the opportunity to see an exhibition of traditional musical instruments and fine handicrafts, a book fair and a showcase of exquisite food from the Valle del Cauca department.
